Check out video highlights of the 2013 Community Leadership Training that took place during Summer 2013! The video can be found on the homepage (sidebar on the right) or here: http://youtu.be/hUHxlyDGIfg. This training was co-created by Playing for Keeps and George Brown College.
Over 200 Volunteer Ambassadors - newcomers, youth and long-time residents took part in an intensive 4-day training that included modules in leadership, citizenship and civic engagement, event planning, and communications.
Following the training, Volunteer Ambassadors continue their journey as lead volunteers at their local community organizations, host Neighbourhood Games to help neighbours get to know each other, and participate in ongoing Playing for Keeps activities towards the TORONTO 2015 Pan/Parapan American Games.
