Youth Conversations

Join us! Help create a more connected community, a healthier and more active Toronto. Youth aged 16-24 years are invited to share your voice and tell us your ideas.

 

Help improve our city and join an exciting movement to help plan and deliver a social legacy for the 2012 Ontario Summer Games and provide legacy model for the 2015 Pan/Parapan American Games.

Design Workshops

Four design workshops were held in the Spring/Summer of 2011 (Ajax, May 25; Toronto, May 30; Hamilton, June 20; Provincial Sport Organizations, Sept. 13). The objectives of these workshops were to:

  1. Enhance social networks and develop social capital.
  2. Determine how to leverage the Games to build social capital and develop legacies that will lead to healthier, more active and stronger communities.
  3. Ensure commitment to find ways to implement research, programs, initiatives and evaluation before, during and after the Games.
